Wettbewerbsrecht

Competition law, in addition to the German and European antitrust law, mainly comprises regulations against unfair competition. In the “Gesetz gegen unlauteren Wettbewerb” (Act against unfair competition), the legislator has determined certain limits that restrict free business in sensitive areas. This is one of the most dynamic and rapidly changing areas of the law.

Only through constant observation of the developments in jurisprudence and literature, it is possible to advise the businesses affected by the Act against unfair competition on how to avoid conflict and what to do in case a conflict arises. Due to many specific statutory regulations that differ from the general principles of law, it is very important to make use of diligent legal counselling and often to act immediately, to avoid serious legal consequences.
