Real estate development

We are at your side whenever any public or private law issues involving real estate development are at stake.

For example, the requirements of building development applying to a project have to be verified or ensured, contracts have to be drafted and negotiated to implement the building development plans as well as structural or urban development issues, and the necessary planning permissions have to be obtained. We advise you on the project engineering and realisation of real property in special zones, such as retail shopping centres of scale or harbour zones, etc.

We work out the legal framework conditions for investors’ or architects’ competitions and ensure proper and efficient contractual relationships with the architects and building contractors involved in the project. And last but not least, contracts relating to the use of the property such as commercial or residential leases, property manager’s or operator’s agreements as well as insurance policies have to be drawn up or reviewed.

As a matter-of-course, we also represent you in the event of disputes, for example, in opposition proceedings or complaints for obtaining planning permissions, in liability proceedings against public authorities because planning permissions were granted incorrectly or not at all, because of architects’ or building contractor liability issues, and with respect to disputes with tenants/landlords.
